Communications upgrade for Greenwood Township
As Oscoda County was emerging from emergency to recovery mode following the destruction and power outages following the ice storm that hit at the end of March, Greenwood Township took a step to increase cell phone communication for residents and visitors to the area. A receiver to transmit cell signals has recently been installed by Verizon on the township’s internet tower.
