Mio and Lincoln-Alcona, which are Division 4 schools, competed against Division 3 schools Beaverton, Evart and Roscommon, and Division 2 schools Gladwin and Ogemaw Heights.

Eagles win at home meet

Fairview hosted the first North Star League Track & Field Jam April 11, competing against Au Gres-Sims, Hale, Hillman and Posen. The hometown Eagles were the big winners: Fairview girls’ team had 114.5 points followed by Posen with 60; Hale, 30; and Hillman, 22.5. Fairview boys had 157 points; Posen, 49; Hale, 24; Hillman, 15. Coach Don Haskin shared highlights about individual performances.
