Comins Township is seeking a resident to fill a vacant seat on the Oscoda County District Library Board, said a statement released on social media shortly before noon Jan. 7.

“The ideal person would be committed to providing quality activities and services to our residents, have a well-rounded understanding of community vision surrounding the expectations of the library, have good communication skills to not only serve as a board member but inform the Comins Township board of the happenings occurring within the library, be able to follow the district library policies and be fiscally responsible,” said the statement.

The board intends to fill the seat by Jan. 26. Interested parties are invited to submit letters of interest to clerk@cominstwp.com
