The Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan has announced Youth Advisory Council Day is Tuesday, May 6. This special day of giving is meant to raise awareness and funding for our youth grant makers. The first Youth Advisory Council Day was held in 2024, and our communities helped raise more than $39,000.

Please mark your calendar to support your local Youth Advisory Council, or YAC, on May 6th. This year, up to $1,000 in matching funds will be offered for each YAC in our service area, so your donation is worth double and could help your local YAC secure the Youth Advisory Council Day trophy – Mac the Golden Yak!
