The Oscoda County Board of Commissioners approved a motion to purchase, acquire and construct capital improvements and to publish notice of intent to issue municipal securities at its Aug. 22 meeting. The motion was carried, four to one.
Everything’s going up
The Comins Township Board of Trustees approved a budget of $140,000 for this year’s portion of the Fairview sidewalk project at its August 22 meeting. The price is higher than the original 2021 estimates.
“It’s like 28 percent,” Supervisor Rob Murphy said. “Year to year, pricing is going up. Concrete this year went up twice – March and then again in July.”
