Mark Patrick Baker, 60, of Atlanta/Fairview, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Mark was born Jan. 29, 1959, in Brighton to Wilfred and Iva Newsbomb Baker. Mark lived his life to the fullest and never let anything stop him from doing so. Racing snowmobiles was the family passion with his dad and brothers.

He worked as a youth on many local farms and the farming led him to Alaska where he cleared land. He came back home to be closer to family and back to the family business as a bricklayer.

Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors and all God’s creatures. He spent most of his time watching and feeding the many animals who came to see him daily.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred “Bill” and Iva; his brother, Mike; nephew, Steven; niece, Kimberly; and his most loyal companion, Sassy.

Mark leaves behind his significant other, Robbie Handrich; his brothers, Jim (Deb), Scott and Steve (Chris); sister, Joanne; nephews, Brandon, Jimmy and Greg; and grandchildren, Nathan, Kaylee and Sadie Handrich and Reese and Carter Tiffin. Mark also leaves behind many, many friends and a lifetime of memories.

The family has chosen to celebrate Mark’s life at a later date. Interment will be in Alaska.
