Holocaust survivor and author visits Mio

Posted

Irene Miller, a Holocaust survivor, author and educator, spoke about life during World War II at the Knights of Columbus Post 7329 in Mio Saturday, March 9.

There were almost 100 people in attendance.

Miller also discussed her memoir “Into No Man’s Land: A Historical Memoir” during the presentation.

While the presentation was originally scheduled to take place at the Oscoda County Library, it was moved to the K of C Hall because so many people said they would be attending, Library Director Amy Knepp said.

Miller also spoke at Mio Ausable Schools Friday, March 8.

For a full story on Miller’s visit, pick up next week’s copy of the Oscoda County Herald.
