American Red Cross Call Out for Local Disaster Volunteers

OSCODA COUNTY, MI - February 11, 2009 – The American Red Cross of Oscoda County is a local, community-based organization that provides services to citizens of the community through fellow citizens who volunteer to carry out the mission. The American Red Cross has a variety of volunteer opportunities. These opportunities are available at many times of the day, for different durations as well as on many different subject matters. The Disaster Response Team, local fundraising or emergency military messaging are just some of the volunteer opportunities that we are recruiting for. We offer training, flexible on call scheduling that does not interfere with personal/work time, opportunities for volunteer growth within the organization and the satisfaction of helping your own neighbor who is in need. The American Red Cross cannot do what it does without the help of local volunteers.

If you are looking for a way in which to give back to your community, the American Red Cross is looking for you! Please call 1-800-691-6059 today and let us know you are interested.
