Jeffrey was born on September 4, 1959, to Jerry and Leota “Lee” Jones. He had a zest for life. Jeffrey graduated from Troy High School with the Class of 1977. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and hunting “Bubba- style” — sitting in his comfy lounger with the heater on and taking a nap in his blind. He loved children and animals, especially his dog Orie and his cat Bandit.

Jeffrey is survived by his mother Leota “Lee” Jones; his sister Julie Ann Jones; his nephew Dustin Tucker Fett (Andrea Welser); grandnephews Skyler and Gabriel; his niece Stefanie Leigh Jones Coleman and her family; and his sister-in-law Renee Jones. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry F. Jones, Sr., and his brother Jerry F. Jones, Jr.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Santiago Hoyumpa as Celebrant. Interment will take place in the Spring at Loud Township Cemetery, Comins, Michigan.

Memorial donations may be made to any local animal shelter or animal rescue group.
