Members of Oscoda County Thunder attended the National United Wrestling Association of Youth tournament last weekend at the Lansing Event Center in Michigan’s capital. Dalton Troyer, a first grader who attends Mio AuSable Elementary, took fourth place.

Mio Baptist Church hosted the 2023 Grand Prix in the Ministry Center Friday, Apr.14. The church held the first Grand Prix in 2015 and it ran annually through 2019. The race was canceled in 2020 and 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic and returned in 2022
