Michigan health officials and parents from the I Vaccinate campaign celebrated National Infant Immunization Week in April. The week highlights the importance of protecting young children from vaccine-preventable diseases through immunization, which is more important now than ever with 48 Michigan counties dropping below 70 percent coverage for childhood immunization rates.
