989-387-8929 AuSable Valley Engine and Tractor Club held its annual clean-up May 12 at the Oscoda County Fairgrounds to prepare the grounds for the upcoming event season. AVETC uses the Oscoda County Fairgrounds for its annual tractor show.

Staff, appreciated
989-387-8929 May 8-12 was Teacher Appreciation Week, but rather than recognize just teachers now, and another time bus drivers or administrative professionals, Mio AuSable Schools “declared” Staff Appreciation Week. “For quite a few years now, we have honored everybody, under the premise that if you take out one of those groups, it impacts a student,” Elementary Principal Celeste Schiffer said.
