Oscoda County remembers those who serve

Veterans’ Day events were low-key this year, but members of local veterans’ organizations assembled for the traditional ceremony Nov. 11 at the Oscoda County Veterans’ Memorial in Mio. Roger Stitt shared a reminder of all the wars veterans have served in from the American Revolution through current conflicts. An honor guard gave the traditional salute.
