Henry E. “Bud” Ryckman

Died May 20, 2022

Henry E. “Bud” Ryckman, of Oxford, age 97, entered eternal life on May 20, 2022.

Bud was born on June 18, 1924, in Flint, Michigan.

Bud proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Military Police Officer serving under General George Patton. He was a lifetime member of the North Oakland VFW Post 334 and had served as Post Commander of the former Oxford VFW Post 4036.

Bud is survived by his loving wife Lois Ryckman of 75 years; his daughter Victoria (Gerry) Ryckman; his son Michael (Gail) Ryckman; granddaughter Amanda (Richard) Schwartz; and great-grandsons Michael and Carter. Bud also leaves behind two brothers Cecil Ryckman and Harold Ryckman Jr., and many other loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Myra Ryckman; sisters Donna Hull and Martha Brockman; brothers Shirley Ryckman, Donald Ryckman, Marshall Ryckman, and James Ryckman.
