Turnout higher than usual at Kids Free Fishing Day


MIO — Turnout for this year’s Free Fishing Day was higher than usual June 10, according to Mio Lions Club member Randy Booth.

At this year's event, 49 young anglers signed up for the event, catching a total of 45 fish U.S. Forest Service wildlife technician Dana Smith said.
