Oscoda County Road Commission Manager Ron Bruner said the Michigan Department of Transportation is overseeing that project. more

MIO — The Mio Dummy Club, with assistance from the Luzerne and Tri-Town Fire Departments, presented its annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 23, at the Oscoda County Park. Club treasurer Rob Martin estimated that between 100-125 people showed up for the hunt. more
MIO — The Freedom Worship Center Church in Mio and the Strawberry Patch Store in Mio presented its annual Easter party Saturday, April 23, at the Mio Community Center. According to Pastor Sharon Gardulski of the Freedom Worship Center Church, this is the sixth year the church has sponsored the Easter party, with about 100 people typically turning out for the event. more
